Family
Born in 1933 in Giza, Egypt (Greater Cairo Area) to an extremely rich and large family, he is the eldest of fourty four siblings (25 Boys, 19 Girls) to the same Father but from different mothers, however the different mothers are never an issue of dispute, which is the same for every "El Ghareeb" Family memeber, as they all deal as one family regardless of different mothers.

Marriage & Kids
The Traveller Married twice, he got two sons from his first marriage (Hesham & Amr) then after his wife died he remained 20 years without a wife, then finally he married another woman who gave birth to his third son (Mohab). Although he is currently married, it is thought that he has many girlfriends and secret relations, but since no proof was ever found to confirm this, he never had any disturbances in his marriage. His wife is the supervisor of the Lions Club in Egypt (Charity Worker). His eldest son Hesham, a Prof. Dr. of Integrated NBC Materials Mechatronical Applications, graduating from MIT (USA) then from Stuttgart and Aachen (Germany) and is the Second in command of the low-profile International Research and Industry Network based in Aachen, Germany. His second son Amr, is originally a Dr. of Dentistry graduating with honors from the University of Manchester (UK) and owning a full speciality Hospital in Middle London, however, he also enjoys a sense of business and usually engages in service based bussinesses. His youngest son Mohab, is currently a student in the German University in Cairo, studying Material Science, in what is thought to be the footsteps of his brother Hesham.

Politics
In the political battle-ground, HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb Has his marks, from the World Bank negotiations to being the International Monetary Fund Director. He became a minister in the government of Egypt for 14 (fourteen) years to "help build his country" as he often says to the press, however; he had much disputes with his rival (Atef Ebeid) who is now for a long time seen as a main cause of corruption in Egypt. These disputes led HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb to enter a law battle with the government of Ebeid, which he won and caused the government to resign in favour of one of his allies (Dr. Nazeef). Currently, HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb is the second in command of the National Democratic Party of Egypt after the its leader, President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt. He also fills the post of a Senior UN Economic Advisory and the Senior Political and Economic Advisor of the British Royalty (Since he carries a British Nationality beside his Egyptian Nationality), and for the Governments of Germany, France, Russia, China, Italy, Japan, and the UAE (United Arab Emirates). HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb is ranked among the 100 best Politicians of the whole world.
Economics
HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb has made his marks clear in the field of Economics the most, his theories are now tought worldwide as the only way out of the market trouble and the bottle-neck facing most world countries today. He invented the theory of Pay-Over-Debt, and has re-formatted the system of banking with his powerful ideas, which he taught in many universities and sometimes still does so in many universities including the University of Cairo.
He wrote many books including the book used as the guide-line for the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund now by the title of The Modern State: Political Economy & Economical Politics.
One of his achievements was the creating of the first (and only) monetary economical system of the UAE (He did that alone in only six years, which he spent in the UAE), It should be noticed that according to the World Fact Book, the UAE's Economy is as powerful as the economies of some of the largest world nations today although the system he made has never been changed till the present day. He also helped lay the new foundation of the Economic system of the Euro and the European Union in co-ordination with the UBS (The World's largest Bank).
Business
El Ghareeb Family is a Giant Family Business Group based in Suez, Egypt and informally known as El Ghareeb Group, functioning by a node system, in which each and every company functions as a stand-alone company, while in practice, they all work in a network operated by the dean of the Family (Currently HE Prof. Dr. Mohie El Din El Ghareeb) The current Group activities include fields ranging from car retailing to heavy duty oil drilling platforms to oil production and export and even to super-tanker ship building.
