The FLC ATX was a 3-speed hydraulic/computerized automatic transaxle produced by Ford Motor Company from 1981 through 1994. It had a lockup torque converter and a micro computer with no overdrive. The ATX was replaced with the JATCO/Mazda computer-controlled F-4EAT transmission in 1991. The FLC continued production for the 1991 only Ford Tauruswith the 4cyl, 1991-1994 Ford Tempo and Mercury Topaz 4 and 6cyl.
