West Side is a district of Jersey City and the name of the avenue that runs through much it. The district's ambiguous borders are generally considered to be between Kennedy Boulevard and NJ-440, which separates it from the Hackensack Waterfront. It begins south of the Marion Section, and can include parts of Lincoln Park/West Bergen.

The West Side Avenue (HBLR station) is located near the West Campus of New Jersey City University.
