Kid Rock has released 7 studio albums, 1 compilation album, 1 ep and 1 reissue. After being booted by Jive Records in 1990 on his debut album "Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast", Kid Rock went independent. In 1992 he signed to a small Brooklyn based imprint called Contiuum within two years he was released from their label. So he started his own Top Dog Label. In 1997 he was signed to Atlantic Records. He released his mainstream debut album "Devil Without A Cause" on August 18th 1998. The album would be certified diamond, and go on to sell 11 million albums. In 2000 he released the compilation of his failed tracks from 1993's "The Polyfuze Method" and 1996's "Early Mornin Stoned Pimp" entitled "The History Of Rock". "Cocky" was released in 2001 as the official follow up to "Devil Without A Cause" selling 5 million copies. That was followed by 2003's "Kid Rock" and 2006's 'Live' Trucker. 'Live' Trucker was Kid Rock's first live release. In 2007 Kid Rock made his comeback with "Rock N Roll Jesus" which remains on the Billboard 200 since its October 9, 2007 release. The album is nearing triple platinum. Kid Rock has sold 21 million albums to date.
Kid Rock has released 30 singles. In 1999 he produced three major hits in "Bawitdaba", "Cowboy" and "Only God Knows Why". In 2000 he produced the rock hit "American Bad Ass" then in 2003 spawned his first crossover hit "Picture" which featured Sheryl Crow. In 2008 Kid Rock had his biggest hit to date with "All Summer Long". It charted number one in 8 countries and despite his boycott of Itunes the song peaked at No 23 on the Hot 100, therefore based on airplay only, and climbed to No 4 on the country charts and No 2 on the AC Charts.
