Fardeen Khan (Hindi: फ़र्दीन ख़ान, Urdu: فردین خان, born 8 March 1974) is a Indian Bollywood Actor who appears in Bollywood Films.
Biography
Early life
Fardeen Khan is the son of Sundri and famed Indian actor/director Feroz Khan, who is originally from Bangalore. While he was brought up in India, Fardeen studied abroad. Fardeen's father is Muslim and of Afghan (Pathan) ethnicity.[1][2]
He completed his education in business management (B.A) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the United States.
He also trained at Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting Institute.
Career
Khan made his debut in November 1998 with Prem Aggan which was directed by his father.The film got a lukewarm response at the Box office but his career got resurrected in a film by Ram Gopal Varma 'Jungle' which did moderate business.After that,he got numerous offers from acclaimed directors and his career graph showed a steady progress.
In 2005 he starred in the multi-starrer comedy No Entry which was the year's highest grossing film. Since then, his succeeding films have not done well. His recent 2007 release was Heyy Babyy which has taken an impressive start at the box office and could look set to be one of the years biggest hits.[1]. He is currently working in a film which also stars Shahrukh Khan ,Sushmita Sen and Tara Sharma in pivotal roles. He is also working on an animated film titled EKEH 2.0 (Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena) which will feature music by The Bilz and Kashif.
Personal life
Fardeen Khan comes from a distinguished film family; his father is actor and director Feroz Khan and his uncle is actor Sanjay Khan. His cousins are actor Zayed Khan and designer Sussanne Roshan, who is married to Hrithik Roshan.He was involved in many scandals before he made an entrance in Bollywood.He was romantically linked with Model Roheen Khan but they broke up.Fardeen khan was also involved in an affair with Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Pooja Bhatt when Fardeen was studying at the University of Massachusetts but after dating they broke up.
He is married to Natasha Madhwani, the daughter of former actress Mumtaz and business tycoon Mayur Madhwani. The two were engaged in a private ceremony in London on May 6, 2005. The marriage ceremony took place on December 14, 2005 via a registration service. The ceremony itself was conducted according to Muslim and Hindu rites.
On May 4, 2001 Fardeen along with drug pedler Naseer Abdul Kareem Khan were arrested after the former attempted to purchase cocaine from the latter at an ATM centre Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme, a Mumbai suburb. The police caught Naseer and Fardeen with 9g of cocaine.
