"Marco Polo"
Song

"Marco Polo" is the first promo single released by Bow Wow from his upcoming album New Jack City II. The song was produced by and features Soulja Boy Tell 'Em.

The album version of the song does not contain any explicit lyrics by Bow Wow. An earlier version leaked onto the internet that had a completely different first verse by Bow Wow that did however contain explicit lyrics. Soulja Boy's verse on both versions is the same except it is edited to not have the 2 explicit words at the end of his verse for the album version.

Soulja Boy's line, "Gucci Bandana" is sampled as the hook of his song, "Gucci Bandana off of his second album, iSouljaBoyTellEm.

Music video

The music video premiered on FNMTV on July 25, 2008.[citation needed]

The video begins with Bow Wow and Soulja Boy picking up trash near a pool with their boss, a lifeguard (portrayed by comedian Doo Doo Brown) giving them a hard time. They then proceed to call up some friends, and have a party by the pool doing the "Marco Polo" dance which is similar to hide and seek. -Bebo and other graphics- The popular myspace layouts site, freeweblayouts.net and the popular Bebo skin site presedentialskinz.net (bebo.com/presidential09) was noted for making several versions of Marco Polo graphics, featuring Bow Wow and Soulja Boy. J-mack on Deck, owner of the Bebo skin site also also made several graphics dedicated to Soulja boy. ==Remix== There is a unofficial remix that was released featuring rapper V.I.C. and was made to promote his debut album Beast.

In an interview on Kiwibox.com, Bow Wow has stated there will be an official remix coming in the future. He has confirmed that Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, Lil Wayne, Twista, The Game, Jermaine Dupri, Snoop Dogg and Nelly may be featured, but have not yet been confirmed.[1]
