What was the joke?

What was the joke that these kids do? Must have been a lot to get a trucker that PO'ed...67.150.2.233 05:40, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They pretended that one of them was a woman and arranged at meeting at a motel room were another male character was staying who had also a run in with the kids. This annoyed Rusty Nail.

Inaccuracies?

This movie is supposed to be set in Wyoming, and mentions several towns correctly, however Paul Walker calls the police and asks for the sheriff of Rawlins County. There is no such county in Wyoming. He also mentions that he needs to talk to the police in Table Rock, Wyoming however, this town is in Sweetwater County and the town is too small to support a police force. It is maintained by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, which would have been the first choice to call. I know that this is just a movie, and I'm aware it's fiction, but at least they could have done a little more research on town and county names. Milonica (talk) 00:32, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Internet not in common use in 1999?

The article states: "Although the internet was certainly around in 1999, it was still not yet in common use among the public." Perhaps that's stretching it a bit. I don't think it's anachronistic to have a character in a movie set in 1999 who knows about the Internet. Jeff Bezos (founder of Amazon.com) was named Time magazine's Person of the Year in 1999. --Keith111 (talk) 02:46, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the "dot-com bubble" was supposed to have burst in 2000. --Keith111 (talk) 02:55, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I had the internet in the fifth grade in 1995. 64.47.148.150 (talk) 00:15, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
