Les Fatals Picards

Les Fatals Picards is a French band that represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song L'amour à la française (Eng: "Love in the French Way"), after winning the national selection. Les Fatals Picards was founded in 1996.

Their songs feature much word play.

Characteristics

The music and the lyrics are original and sung with a Picard accent (although the only Picard singer does not belong to the group anymore...). They describe their music as "offbeat punk" and use a lot of humorous effects such as caricature.
