Statistical information

Viktor Troicki clinched his first title since 2006 at the MT:S Open Tretorn Serie+ event in Belgrade, Serbia
Arnaud Clement completed a singles/doubles sweep at the Challenger DCNS de Cherbourg in France
Santiago Giraldo won one of the first titles of the season at the Abierto Internacional de Salinas in Ecuador
Bernard Tomic claimed his first Challenger title at the first Maccabi Men's Challenger in Melbourne, Australia

These tables present the number of singles (S), and doubles (D) titles won by each player and each nation during the season, within all the tournament categories of the 2009 ATP Challenger Tour: the Tretorn Serie+ tournaments, and the regular series tournaments.[1] The players/nations are sorted by: 1) total number of titles (a doubles title won by two players representing the same nation counts as only one win for the nation); 2) importance of those titles (a Tretorn Serie+ win equalling two regular tournaments wins); 3) a singles > doubles hierarchy; 4) alphabetical order (by family names for players).

To avoid confusion and double counting, these tables should be updated only after an event is completed. The tables are through to the tournaments of the week of March 9.

Are included from the tournaments of the week of March 16, the results of : Bangkok doubles; Caltanissetta doubles.
