Frank McGuinness (died 1949) was an Australian newspaper editor and father of the journalist, P. P. McGuinness. He is remembered most for starting the evening newspaper, The Daily Mirror, in 1941. Before this, he had worked as a journalist on a number of newspapers, including the Melbourne Herald and the Geelong Advertiser and had been the editor of The Truth.
