Tales of Terror were a San Francisco Punk band that put out a self titled LP in 1984 on the label CD Presents. The album is listed in Kurt Cobain's Journal's in his "Nirvana Top 50" and the song Chambers of Horror is in a list of songs. There have also been rumours about a CD release of the album.

Tales of Terror is also a hardcore metal band from about the same period and an album by Penis Flytrap.
