In the Kuwaiti Economic Summit, 2009, the Arab Leaders and Delegates in the Arab League Economic Summit have approved a 2007 proposal to create an Arab Customs Union, to achieve an Arab Common market by 2020 and to Increase the Arab-Inter Trade, and their Integration.
