DIO - Distraught Overlord was first formed in 2005 under the name Baby Santa as a session band. About a half year later they became DIO - Distraught Overlord. Each member already had lots of experience from being in various bands in the past which helps the young band in the long run. The band tries for the more alternative and heavy sound. They have gained lots of sucess in japan in such a short amount of time. They have also been making appearances and releasing CD's around Europe.
