The Sign of Hertoghe, is a thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows and is a sign of hypothyroidism.[1]

The sign is named after Dr. Eugene Hertoghe M.D., a Belgian physician who pioneered much of the early research on hypothyroidism in the late 19th and early part of the 20th century. [1] [2]
