Tampines 1 is a shopping mall located between the Tampines MRT Station and Tampines Bus Interchange. The mall opened on 9 April 2009. [1]

Tampines 1 is set to be a multi-dimensional and interactive mall offering an array of goods, and services and lifestyle retail shops to meet the shoppers' needs. The mall will strive to be different by bringing in new retail concepts that tie in with the theme of "Young, Savvy and Lover of All Things New". The mall, spread over five storeys and one basement, will also be the first suburban mall in Singapore with a dedicated swimming pool.[2]

The total development cost of the project is estimated to be S$450 million.
