Irish?

An unregistered user (Tetsujin1979) changed the intro to 'English born Irish footballer'. Haven't heard any suggestion of this before so I reverted the change. Anyone got a link to suggest the guy was right?--EchetusXe (talk) 23:25, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
