Equipment

Throughout his career Buckethead has used a wide range of different guitars, effect pedals and amplifers. ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[4] ^[5] ^[6] ^[7] ^[8]

Guitars

Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop - Baritone neck 27" with 24 frets, enlarged and chambered body, white hardware, killswitch, DiMarzio Air Norton in the bridge and DiMarzio Tone Zone in the neck position^[9]^[10]

the neck is a 27 1/2 scale baritone w/24 frets, ebony fretboard (the ebony fretboard being a popular feature on his guitar collection)

the body is oversized and chambered (semi-hollow).

the keys are "tulip" style Grovers.

all hardware has/had an aftermarket white finish applied.

master volume, master tone, kill-switch, 3-way toggle. but we all knew that stuff.

the pickup's (which is what everyone seems to want to know), neck p/u is a Dimarzio Tone Zone, bridge p/u is a Dimarzio Air Norton. Thread at TK. Also from Paden?

Jackson Y2KV - "Coopwood" custom made, reverse neck, with larger body and headstock due to Buckethead saying normal guitars looked like toys in his hands.
Jackson Y2KV - "KFC" same as the "coopwood", only with the KFC red stripes, kill switch and an Original Floyd Rose. ^[11]
Jackson doubleneck - A custom doubleneck half guitar, half bass (as seen on Enter the Chicken and KFC Skin Piles)
ESP MV custom - Used throughout his concert in the Wetlands, broken as seen in one of the Binge Clips. (FAQ states MII!)
Heartfield Talon II - Midnight blue with Pink Pickups. Used in early Deli Creeps shows (as seen in the Young Buckethead DVDs)
Fender Telecaster - Used on various albums, mainly projects with Travis Dickerson.^[12]^[13]^[14]
Steinberger GS "Kaiser's Gift", given to him by Henry Kaiser
Ibanez X Series Rocket Roller II - Used throughout the early Praxis live era.
