Escape the Fate

Escape the Fate is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004. Their first full-length album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, was released on September 26, 2006 with former vocalist Ronnie Radke. Their second full-length album, This War Is Ours, was sung by current vocalist Craig Mabbitt.

History

Beginning and Dying is Your Latest Fashion (2005-2006)

Vocalist Ronnie Radke and bassist Max Green used myspace while searching for new band members after their previous group's break up. The networking site allowed them to recruit guitarist Bryan Monte Money, who brought along Vegas transplant (and former Lovehatehero guitarist) Omar Espinoza. Drummer Robert Ortiz joined thereafter to complete the group. Debuting live barely one month later.

September 2005, Escape the Fate had won a local radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance. The gig awarded them the opportunity to open a show on the band's headlining tour with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect, which subsequently led to Escape the Fate's record deal with Epitaph. Their debut five-song EP, There's No Sympathy for the Dead, appeared in May 2006. Tour dates followed throughout the summer months, but the band took a break from the road several weeks before the September release of Dying Is Your Latest Fashion

On May 23, 2006, Escape The Fate released a 5 track EP called 'There's No Sympathy for the Dead.' The EP included two songs that were included later on their full length album, Dying is Your Latest Fashion, Produced by Michael "ELVIS" Baskette and was a successful eye-opener for record companies and fans alike. After the release keyboardist Carson Allen left the band to join On The Last Day.

On September 26, 2006 Escape The Fate released their first full length album, Dying is Your Latest Fashion. This is the band's only full length album with Ronnie Radke as the lead vocalist.

Departure of Radke and Espinosa (2006-2008)

in 2007 During the Black on Black tour, Rhythm Guitarist Omar Espinosa left the band. He is now a member of the Las Vegas band, Perfect Like Me.

Ronnie Radke was kicked out of the band after multiple run-ins with the law involving narcotics and battery for a fight that led up to the death of Michael Cook, As stated by Max Green, "First we couldn't tour out of the country, then out of the state.". Ronnie, who remains in prison, has started a new band called From Behind These Walls.

During the Black on Black tour, Omar Espinosa left the band. He is now a member of the Las Vegas band, Perfect Like Me.

Craig Mabbitt and This War is Ours (2008-2009)

After the departure of Radke, the band stated that former Blessthefall vocalist Craig Mabbitt would join them for the next few shows. Later, they stated that Mabbitt would remain as the permanent vocalist and shortly after released the song "The Flood", which would be the 5th track on their sophomore effort, This War Is Ours.

This War is Ours was released on October 21, 2008. It included the singles "The Flood" and "Something". It was the first Escape the Fate album featuring Craig Mabbitt as vocalist.

Before Craig Mabbitt joined the band, Escape The Fate had never completed a full tour. The "This War is Ours" tour is the first successful tour by Escape The Fate. The bands that toured with them are Black Tide, Attack Attack!, Burn Halo, and William Control

Plans for the future

Mabbitt has leaked information that Escape The Fate is indeed writing more music, and that they already have 5 new songs in the works. Mabbitt also stated for their fans that he has incorporated more screaming for anyone who enjoys his screaming. They will be featured on the '09 Vans Warped Tour.
