Charles C. Lynch is the former owner of a marajuana dispensary in Morro Bay, California. On March 29th, 2007, the dispensary was raided and shut down. On July 17th, he was arrested under federal law for marijuana trafficking, and was convicted in 2008; during the trial, his attorneys were barred from refering to the legality of his store under state law. [1]. In 2009, the judge in question sought but was denied input from the Obama administration's Department of Justice He will be sentenced on April 23th, 2009.
