Raid 2020 (working title Drug Czar) is a NES action game that takes place in the year 2020. The object is to defeat all the drug dealers, defeat the drug lord Pit Bull, and eradicate drugs from the streets of America.[2] As agent Shadow, the player faces a dystopian future world where moral collapse is inevitable. He is described as representing the last uncorrupted vestiges of law enforcement.[3]
However, the game is badly programmed and did not receive a wide release. In an unusual turn, even seagulls can kill the player in this game by swooping at him and dropping mysterious white objects at him. The game was developed by Color Dreams. Following its release, the game has received numerous negative reviews and is sometimes considered one of the worst games on the NES.
