Stones Throw Records is a California-based hip hop record label. It was started in 1996 by DJ/Producer Peanut Butter Wolf. Subsidiary Now-Again Records specializes in funk and soul re-issues.

Stones Throw is home to Madlib and many of his projects - Madvillain, Jaylib, Yesterdays New Quintet, Quasimoto, and Lootpack. Other artists apart from Peanut Butter Wolf include Melvin Van Peebles and Koushik.

Often easter eggs are placed around the front page of its website. They are usually placed in two places, on the Stones Throw logo and down the bottom of the main page.
