School budgets?
How does this tax relief program affect school budgets, and by extension, school facilities, programs, teachers' salaries, etc.? LordAmeth (talk) 14:47, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Directly, it does not. It offers a break to taxpayers by lessing the amount of taxes that must be paid. STAR pays the difference for the taxpayer, so in essence, it increases the percentage of a school budget that's made up of state aid. The total revenues of a school district budget does not change. Just the source changes a little bit. ~ ωαdεstεr16«talkstalk» 16:55, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
