Main Characters

Carly Shay

Carligan "Carly" Shay
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byMiranda Cosgrove
Jadin Gould (8-year-old Carly as in 2002)
In-universe information
OccupationStudent, viral webstar
FamilySpencer Shay (brother, legal guardian)
Colonel Shay (Father)
Granddad
Col. Roger Morgan(supposed uncle)
Daniel (uncle)
Tess (aunt)
Ivana (cousin)
George (cousin)
Faye (cousin)

Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) is the 15-year old (13 in Season 1) star of her own popular web show (helped by her two friends, Sam and Freddie), iCarly. Her birthday is on January 14. She lives with her 26-year-old (27 in Season 2) brother Spencer in the Bushwell Plaza, an apartment in Seattle, and Freddie is a neighbor that lives in the apartment right across the hall. Carly and Spencer's father is stationed on a submarine. She has a best friend, Sam Puckett. Carly is known as a local celebrity, which sometimes helps her get out of sticky situations, but remains an average teenage girl who never lets fame get to her head. Carly sticks up for Freddie when Sam teases him, and tries to encourage Sam to stay out of trouble, which never works. Carly is very aware of Freddie's crush on her, but just shrugs it off for the most part because the chance of them going out is extremely small due to the fact that many other boys have a crush on her, and likewise, many other girls have a crush on him. She is usually a cool-headed person, but when annoyed she tends to act out in a loud voice. Carly is quite intelligent and hates to lie about anything or anyone, implied in the episode iPromise Not to Tell, where she was overtaken by guilt when forced to keep Sam's actions a secret. Carly has very high grades in school and was even offered a scholarship to Briarwood, an elite private school in iMight Switch Schools. Carly is the most mature character on the show and is usually the mediator between Sam and Freddie, though Carly and Sam do get into quarrels where Freddie becomes the mediator. It is revealed in iWanna Stay with Spencer that Carly has asthma, though she states that she has not had an attack since she was seven years old (Spencer kept her inhaler anyway, just in case). She is sometimes tough on Spencer, as seen in iFence, when she demanded that he stop fencing after she was forced to stay with her cousins, and made him clean up the kitchen. In addition, she is usually the one who scolds Spencer for acting the way he does, although sometimes, there have been situations wherein it was the other way around, meaning that Spencer is the one who scolds Carly, such as in iLook Alike, when she deliberately disobeyed him by going to a mixed martial arts match that Spencer told her not to go to, and as a result, Spencer punished her when they got home. She wears panties instead of boxer shorts.

Samantha "Sam" Puckett

Samantha "Sam" Puckett
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byJennette McCurdy
Olivia Hosken (8-year-old Sam as in 2002)
In-universe information
OccupationStudent, viral webstar
FamilyMs. Puckett (mother)
Greg (Cousin)
Annie (Cousin)
Grandfather
Uncle

Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) is Carly's best friend and co-host of iCarly. Her birthday is on April 29. While she is also best friends with Freddie, she constantly annoys and sometimes even physically harms him. Sam always hangs out at Carly's apartment due to staying away from home and her mom. She has a very weird family and most of them are in jail or on parole, which may explain her abnormal behavior. Sam owes her friends a lot of money, and always bullies kids who she thinks are weird and awkward, especially Freddie, Gibby, Jeremy, and many of their friends, and also insults any girl who is attracted to Freddie (even her own look-alike), although she still seems to acknowledge that, compared to Gibby and Jeremy, Freddie is still considered by many to be one of the "cool kids." She has two ex-boyfriends: Frankie Merkin (from elementary) and Jonah (Freddie's friend). Both suffered major consequences when they hurt Sam. Sam is somewhat obsessed with food and will always ask Carly for snacks or food. Sometimes she doesn't even ask Carly and just raids their kitchen. One of her favorite foods is chili and she had a short job at "Chili My Bowl" so she could pay back the money she owed Carly and Freddie. It didn't work as she refused to work hard- and even cried about it, but not before telling Freddie to get out so that he couldn't get to see her cry. Her favorite food however is ham. She is a trouble maker, lets fame go to her head, and is extremely lazy, and as a result she's in detention most of the time and gets in trouble with Principal Franklin and Mrs. Briggs frequently. She once "stole" money from kids off the internet and ran into trouble with the law. She owed Carly and Freddie $526, but spent it on a trampoline. In the episode iMeet Fred, Sam tells the audience that she enjoys tormenting people. Sam has been arrested three times, although no details on the crimes she was charged with have ever been written into the show. In the episode iKiss, she reveals that she has never kissed anyone, and she and Freddie kiss, since Freddie hasn't kissed anyone yet either. They go back to hating each other for now (at least in public). Sam loves to argue, and appears to have 'never' lost a bet with Freddie, as they've made foolish bets. Their relationship has gone through major changes and will probably keep changing as they grow older. Still Freddie gets the brunt of her aggression and Carly is the good influence in her life. In "iMake Sam Girlier," Sam is shown to be stronger than a senior bully named Jocelyn who is much bigger than her, and this is exhibited when Jocelyn forcibly shoves Carly to the ground in front of her. It is mentioned in iMake Sam Girlier that she wears boxer shorts instead of panties. She is lighthearted, and troublesome, yet she cares when it counts and Carly and Freddie know that in the end she'll pull through for them.

Fredward "Freddie" Benson

Fredward "Freddie" Benson
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byNathan Kress
In-universe information
OccupationStudent, Tech Producer, viral webstar
FamilyMarissa Benson (Mother)
Dad (presumed dead)
Great Grandparents
Stephanie(Baby cousin)

Freddie Benson (Nathan Kress) is the tech-producer of iCarly. His birthday is on February 4. Freddie speaks in a deeper tone voice in Season 2 because his voice has changed, due to puberty. He has a huge crush on Carly, though Carly is not really interested. In turn, many other girls have had a crush on him from time to time. He is somewhat of a nerd, who has both high academic grades (rivaling those of Carly) and strong interests in works of fiction, and is also both a technology buff and an athlete (he can fence and play tennis), although many other kids are still drawn to his personality, and for girls in particular, his looks as well. In the episode iSpy a Mean Teacher, it is revealed that he is allergic to bees, and he also predicted that in a few years, he would be Carly's second husband, though Carly has no idea what would happen to her first husband. He has an over-protective mom who often embarasses him, especially in front of Sam and Carly. She almost dated their doorman Lewbert. While he and Sam are friends, he constantly receives a lot of abuse (both verbal and physical) from her, which makes him uncomfortable around her to the point where he occasionally brings weapons (usually a baseball bat) whenever he hangs out with Sam and Carly. Freddie's first date was with Valerie (an iCarly fan who also went to school with them), but she just pretended to like him so she could force him to quit iCarly and help her make a competing webshow. He is friends with Gibby and Jeremy, which means that they all are bullied by Sam, although unlike Gibby and Jeremy, Freddie, for the most part, only has to put up with Sam, whereas Gibby and Jeremy are bullied by many other kids as well; in addition, while he is Sam's number one target of bullying, she seems to acknowledge that compared to Gibby and Jeremy, Freddie is still considered one of the "cool kids" by many, and that many girls are attracted to him, but still insults those girls anyway. Sometime after he broke up with Valerie, he later went on a second date with another girl at school named Shannon Mitchell (who actually does have a crush on him, perhaps even bigger than his crush on Carly; she acted very flirtatious with him, even to the point of staring at him in class while smiling suggestively and making flirty poses, as well as sending him tons of love-letters and even touching him a few times) as a triple date with Carly, Sam, Gibby, and another kid. Freddie also has a friend from "A-V Club" named Shane, a cute guy over whom Carly and Sam fight, after which Shane decides that he wants nothing to do with either of them and ends up falling down an elevator. Freddie is impressive in fencing; his ancestors are champions at the sport, though his mother dislikes it. He can also play tennis. Freddie is good friends with Carly's brother Spencer, to whom he goes for advice and tips. He is the second most mature character on the show, behind only Carly, and even though Carly is usually the mediator between him and Sam, whenever Sam fights with Carly, he becomes the mediator, and like Carly, he does not let fame go to his head, although if he gets embarrassed, he avoids things altogether, as in the episode iKiss, when Sam spills Freddie's secret that he has never kissed a girl (despite having implied that he kissed Valerie) on iCarly, but then later, she admited that she hadn't kissed a boy either to make up for the humiliation that Freddie suffered as a result, and also told everyone who mocked him to leave him alone, and in the end, Sam and Freddie kiss to "get it over with". They both promised not to tell anyone they had kissed, and to go back to hating each other for now (at least in public). This seemed to show that while Sam likes to bully Freddie, she still cares enough to not let others bully him. His mother gives him a very small allowance out of fear he will buy a bus ticket and leave her, which Freddie implies isn't too crazy an idea.

Spencer Shay

Spencer Shay
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byJerry Trainor
In-universe information
OccupationArtist, Junkyard stuff finder, Bassist, filmmaker, mini-golf maker, viral webstar, dental assistant, Tech producer
FamilyCarly Shay (sister)
Father (in Navy)
Granddad
Col. Roger Morgan (supposed uncle)
Daniel (uncle)
Tess (aunt)
Ivana (cousin)
George (cousin)
Faye (cousin)

Spencer Shay (Jerry Trainor) is Carly's 27-year-old. brother and legal guardian. He is a sculptor and artist. His birthday is on November 11. He'll do anything to meet a woman, though he always gets involved with women that can be described as "weirdos". Spencer went to law school for three days, but left to become an artist because it was his real dream (although he still has some legal knowledge). Spencer is known to buy fish and forget to feed them. He has a friend Socko that sells him crazy socks. As a running gag, whenever Spencer builds or fixes something it spontaneously catches fire (or explodes, according to Carly). While he is usually very weird and funny, there have been times when he has proven that he can be very serious when it counts, such as in the episodes iWanna Stay with Spencer and iLook Alike. In the former episode, one of his sculptures almost harms Carly by flinging a hammer at her head, which, luckily, she ducks under. Their grandfather reprimands him, but later Spencer gives Carly her asthma inhaler just as she was about to leave to move to Yakima, which he has had since Carly was seven. This causes the grandfather to change his mind and let her stay with Spencer. In the latter episode, Carly asks Spencer to convince Freddie's mother to let her and her friends go to a mixed martial arts match, but Spencer states that he agrees with Freddie's mother and tells them not to go, so they try to trick him by having three look-alikes stand in for them, but he doesn't fall for it, and then figures out that they went to the match anyway, where he confronts and scolds Carly on camera. At the end of the episode, he states that he will punish Carly for disobeying him. But Carly does not hear him, because she is doing iCarly upstairs. He sees the computer from the couch and says: "Why is Jackson Colt dancing with a bra?"

Recurring characters

Marissa Benson

Marissa Benson
First appearanceiWanna Stay with Spencer
Portrayed byMary Scheer
In-universe information
OccupationSingle mother
FamilyFreddie (son)

Marissa Benson (Mary Scheer) is Freddie's nosy, over-protective mother, seemingly bordering on psychaotic at times. She always treats Freddie like a little kid and won't let him have any freedom; she even had a GPS chip put in his head as a toddler, revealed in iGo to Japan, though Freddie does not know this, though he can hear it when its activated. She always wants Freddie to be clean, tidy and very well mannered at all times, occasionally barging in or interrupting Freddie during conversations to remind him of such things as shampooing twice, putting on clean "anti-bacterial" underwear, or participating in his bi-weekly body inspections for ticks, though he says he was too old. In iHurt Lewbert, she and Lewbert almost became a couple, but they broke up after Freddie faked an injury. Also, on account of Marissa embarrassing Freddie in front of people, Sam is usually there at these times, and she finds Marissa embarrassing Freddie enjoyable. She is also very talented at fencing like Freddie, talented enough to defeat three teenagers at once.

Granddad Shay

Granddad Shay
First appearanceiWanna Stay with Spencer
Portrayed byGreg Mullavy
In-universe information
OccupationRetired
FamilyCarly (granddaughter)
Spencer (grandson)
Son (in Navy)
Ivana (grandaughter)
George (grandson)

Granddad Shay (Greg Mullavy) is the grandfather of Spencer and Carly, first seen in iWanna Stay with Spencer. He lives in Yakima, and after seeing Spencer's irresponsibility as Carly's guardian, he decides to bring Carly to live with him in Yakima, which also could be the end of iCarly. By the end of the episode, he was impressed how Spencer really cared for his little sister, and decided that Carly will remain with him.

Lewbert

Lewbert
First appearanceiWant More Viewers
Portrayed byJeremy Rowley
In-universe information
OccupationDoorman
FamilyMother
ReligionJewish

Lewbert (Jeremy Rowley) is the mean, nasty doorman of Carly's apartment building. He has a big, gross wart on his cheek. He is featured on the bit "Messin' with Lewbert" on iCarly, where they pull pranks on him and tell the viewers what a horrible person he is. He had a short romance with Freddie's mom when he got hurt, but didn't last because of his rude and selfish personality. Lewbert is overprotective of his lobby and gained the nickname Captain Wartburger by Jonah (Freddie's friend). On the Halloween episode iScream on Halloween, Lewbert is possibly Jewish.

Nevel Papperman

Nevel Papperman
First appearanceiNevel
Portrayed byReed Alexander
In-universe information
Occupationviral webstar
FamilyMs. Papperman (mother), Grandmama Papperman (grandmother)

Nevel Papperman (Reed Alexander) is a brilliant 11-year old kid and the primary antagonist of the show. He reviews internet sites on his website nevelocity.com. He has a crush on Carly, but Carly refused to go out with him and then smashed tapenade in his face, so he got revenge by giving their webshow a bad review. His biggest fear is his mom; shown when Carly told his mother that he had written a bad review of her purely out of spite. Nevel tried to ruin iCarly by hacking the site, but Carly called her father's friend, Colonel Morgan, who foiled the plan. In Carly's alternate dimension of iChristmas, if Spencer was born normal, Nevel is shown as Carly's boyfriend. Their terms of meeting are unknown as iCarly does not exist in that time line, although for reasons unexplained he apparently is a Ridgeway student in the alternate timeline, even though he goes to an unnamed, different school in the main continuity. He tried to kiss Carly in the episode iNevel. He reappeared in iGive away A Car, where he set up a car contest on iCarly. This was a trick, so Carly, Sam, and Freddie had to get Nevel a car or the LCC would shut down iCarly. He stated in iGive Away A Car that his life-long dream is to have his own haberdashery. His voice changed in iChristmas. In iWant My Website Back, Nevel tricks Mandy Valdez into making her think it's Freddie so she could give him iCarly.com instead of the iCarly crew. He loves to get rid of iCarly for good. He is known widely for his trademark catch-phrase "You'll rue the day!" (this was even referenced in the episode "iRue the Day")

Amanda "Mandy" Valdez

Amanda "Mandy" Valdez
First appearanceiAm Your Biggest Fan
Portrayed byAria Wallace
In-universe information
OccupationStudent
viral webstar
FamilyMother
Father
(left the family)

Amanda "Mandy" Valdez (Aria Wallace) is iCarly's biggest fan. She is described as hyperactive and annoying when around Carly, Sam, and Freddie. Mandy thinks she can do "good" impressions of a duck. She first appeared in iAm Your Biggest Fan, where she is annoying at the most and does her impression of a duck in Carly's face. At the end of the episode, Mandy had a liking for the band, Backflesh, that Spencer performed in for only two weeks. Mandy comes back in iWant My Website Back, where Nevel Papperman tricked Mandy into thinking he was Freddie so Nevel could steal iCarly.com from Sam, Freddie, and Carly.

Teachers At Ridgeway Middle School

Principal Theodore "Ted" Franklin

Principal Theodore "Ted" Franklin
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byTim Russ
In-universe information
OccupationPrincipal

Principal Ted Franklin (Tim Russ) is the school principal, who is fond of Carly and Freddie. He is used to seeing Sam in his office to give her detention on a regular basis (despite this, the two seem to be on good terms). Ted and his kids are iCarly fans themselves. Like his students, Ted seems to dislike Ms. Briggs and Mr. Howard's rude behavior to his students, and it appears that the feeling is mutual. He understands students like Carly and Freddie, but doesn't really sympathize with Sam, since she always disrespects him by calling him by his first name (i.e. "Mornin' Ted").

Ms. Francine Briggs

Ms. Francine Briggs
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byMindy Sterling
In-universe information
OccupationTeacher, Bagpipes player

Ms. Briggs (Mindy Sterling) is a mean teacher that Carly and her friends like to make fun of and one of Spencer's former teachers during his years in Ridgeway School. She is obsessed with Randy Jackson and has a closet dedicated to him, filled with many pictures, a talking cardboard standee, and assorted Randy Jackson-related merchandise like colognes and the cereal Randy-Yos. Ms. Briggs is a Scottish-American, and enjoys playing the bagpipes and dancing, calling it enriching entertainment, much to the dismay of students who consider it torture. She hates Sam and likes Carly. In iSpy A Mean Teacher, she is shown to think iCarly is tasteless and nearly costs the show its audience by playing the bagpipes on the show (they ended up getting the audience back by putting up all sorts of random, weird images on the green screen behind her, of which she had no clue).

Mr. Howard

Mr. Howard
First appearanceiGot Detention
Portrayed byDavid St. James
In-universe information
OccupationTeacher

Mr. Howard (David St. James) is a teacher and detention moderator with an extremely unpleasant personality. He hates everything– laughter, children (no matter how nice they are), and even his wife. Everyone at Ridgeway– including Carly and her friends– hate him in return. He got in trouble with Principal Franklin when he called him a weak, spineless fool. He got fired for doing this and he was never seen again. Though he is still injured from the football incident, he is the 'destroyer' of iCarly's 50th webshow spectacular, and he also believes in physical punishment (push-ups, in particular), which is against the school rules. During detention, he always leaves the room to watch the Geometry Channel, a parody of the National Geographic Channel.

Ms. Lauren Ackerman

Ms. Lauren Ackerman
First appearanceiHave a Lovesick Teacher
Portrayed byJessica Makinson
In-universe information
OccupationTeacher

Ms. Ackerman (Jessica Makinson) is the mentally unstable history teacher and center of the episode iHave a Lovesick Teacher. She became extremely abusive of her class and hated males when her boyfriend dumped her. After Carly defended Freddie from such abuse, Ms. Ackerman called Spencer, and fell in love with him. When Spencer and Lauren began dating, she began treating the class very nicely, going so far as to cancel class in order to go ice skating, giving A's to the whole class, and serving them caramel apples. After Spencer saw Lauren's possessiveness and paranoia, he breaks up with her and Lauren abuses the class once more, even developing a hatred of the Shays and she fails Carly on an exam she didn't even take. Lauren was finally arrested by the FBI for illegally downloading 500 songs for the PearPod (parody of the iPod) that she gave to Spencer as one of her daily gifts to him. She got arrested and was fired, and she was never seen again.

Mr. Henning

Mr. Henning is a science teacher at Ridgeway Middle School. He gave Carly an D-minus because she made an extremely illegal project. He made an appearance in iGo Nuclear.

Other Teachers

  • Mr. Buttburn (Brendan Patrick Connor), a teacher who gets made fun of a lot because of his name. He only appeared in iWant a World Record.

  • Mr. Devlin (Adrian Neil), the History teacher who hated three hole paper. He appeared in iPromise Not to Tell and iKiss.

  • Mr. Johnson, the Inner Studies teacher who spends time in the staffroom. He appeared in iDon't Want to Fight, iGot Detention and iMake Sam Girlier.
  • Mr. Palladino (Randall Park), the social studies teacher who thought that he lost his stapler. He only appeared in iGot Detention.

Students At Ridgeway Middle School

Gibby Cornelius Carlson

Gibby Cornelius Carlson
First appearanceiDream of Dance
Portrayed byNoah Munck
In-universe information
OccupationStudent
FamilyMs. Carlson (mother)

Gibby Cornelius Carlson (Noah Munck) is the other stereotypical bullied kid (although he does have some friends), who is fond of doing things without a shirt on (he takes it off, or is seen without it in almost every episode he is featured in; sometimes he has two shirts on, and takes them both off at the same time). He likes spelling bees and Ryan Seacrest. He first appeared in iDream of Dance where he runs into Sam's dream in his boxers saying, "Am I late for the test?" to which Sam replies, "Get out of here Gibby, this is my nightmare!". He also goes shirtless in iMight Switch Schools, when he plays mini golf in the Shay apartment. In iWin a Date, it is revealed that he is attracted on a girl named Shannon Mitchell, who has a crush on Freddie. Gibby took off his shirt once again in the Cheesecake Warehouse (parody of the Cheesecake Factory), to dance on the table to impress Shannon. The only episode so far in which he does not appear shirtless is iGot Detention. Behind Freddie, Gibby is Sam's second-favorite target for insulting. She once forced Gibby's foot into his mouth, compelling him to do the feat that can be done by Benji, who backed out of a guest spot on iCarly.

Jeremy ("Germy")

Jeremy (Germy)
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byNathan Pearson
In-universe information
OccupationStudent, viral webstar, Tech producer

Jeremy (Nathan Pearson) is a sickly kid who is also known as "Germy" because he has been constantly sneezing and coughing since first grade. Like Freddie, he is also fascinated with electronics. When Freddie left iCarly during the episode iWill Date Freddie, Jeremy became the new tech producer but continuously sneezed (on the lens) during production. When Jeremy himself left, Freddie resumed his post as the team's permanent tech producer. He was also used to expose Nevel's fear of germs in order to get him to admit he liked iCarly.

Wesley

Wesley
First appearanceiPilot
Portrayed byColin Spensor
In-universe information
OccupationStudent

Wesley (Colin Spensor) is one of Freddie's friends. He is very skilled in the art of beatboxing which he frequently does, (to other people's annoyance) shown most notably during the iCarly 50th Webshow Spectacular in the episode iGot Detention where he starts beatboxing on the loudspeaker. When Mr. Howard goes down to investigate, Wesley lobs him with water ballons. He also appears in iNevel and iPilot.

"Rip Off" Rodney

Rodney Goober
First appearanceiDon't Want to Fight
Portrayed byChristopher David
In-universe information
OccupationStudent

"Rip Off" Rodney Goober (Christopher David) is a part of the 'gold club of detention' because he was selling high priced items at Ridgeway (including selling $20.00 foreign peacock tissues to Jeremy). He once sold fake hall passes, but got caught due to the fact that he spelled 'hall' with only one 'l'. He appeared on iCarly's 50th webshow spectacular in detention selling two burritos for six dollars, that did not contain 'quality meat'. He also traded Cuttlefish concert tickets to Sam for her iCarly t-shirt, which Carly made for Sam on their 5th friendship anniversary. It is mentioned that he gets arrested a lot.

Rona Berger

Rona Berger
First appearanceiChristmas
Portrayed byTabitha Morella
In-universe information
OccupationStudent

Rona Berger (Tabitha Morella) is a snobby and rude girl who Carly thinks is "icky". She is rather obnoxious and thinks of Carly as "crazy". When Carly wished that Spencer was born normal, Rona is Freddie's girlfriend in the alternate reality, and she treats terribly. Rona is so obnoxious that when Freddie gave her a PearPod (parody of iPod which seems to be expensive), she just said "A PearPod! It's about time!". She also seemed upset at Freddie after he gave her a digital picture frame and if she does not get what she wants she gets super snobby. Freddie started dating Rona when he gave up on Carly because she was dating Nevel. When the timeline changes back, it can be assumed she goes back to being the girl no one likes.

Shannon Mitchell

Shannon Mitchell (Annamarie Kenoyer) is a girl that Gibby really likes, although she is much more interested in Freddie, acting very flirtatious with him, even to the point of staring at him in class while smiling suggestively and making flirty poses, as well as sending him tons of love letters and even touching him a few times. She and her friends get to appear on a special segment on iCarly called I Win a Date, but only Shannon herself appears, because the other two girls went to see an ice-skating show. In the I Win a Date game, Gibby was the mystery date, and he had to pick out of Carly, Shannon, and Sam, all anonymously, to join him for dinner for two at a restaurant. He ends up picking Carly by mistake (or perhaps strategically as a sneaky trick to change plans), and she ends up setting Shannon up with Freddie, and they go on a triple-date with Sam and Reuben.

Valerie ("Val")

Valerie (Carly Bondar) made her appearance in iWill Date Freddie. She dated Freddie in this episode for a week. Valerie did not really like Freddie; she just wanted Freddie to leave iCarly and become the Tech Producer for her own show instead. Valerie unsuccessfully tried to get Sam off of iCarly also. Freddie quits and returns to iCarly at the end of the episode. She is mentioned later by Carly in the episode iKiss.

Reuben

Reuben (Gary Pease) is one of Gibby's friends, and speaks in parables that no one except Gibby understands. (Examples: "You don't need bubble wrap to know it's chowder time!" and "You can make a dog bark faster than a fish can climb a tree!") Much of his language is presumed to be an updated Rat Pack style combined with hip-hop slang. He has a huge crush on Sam, and they triple date one time with Carly, Gibby, Freddie, and Shannon (iWin A Date), but Sam somehow insults him in his own "lingo" and he leaves while crying. This is his only appearance in the series.

Cameo Characters

Jake Krandle

Jake Krandle (Austin Butler) made his "cameo" in iLike Jake. Carly had a crush on Jake, and Jake was going to come sing on Carly's web show. Jake sings, but he is a terrible singer. Freddie doesn't seem to like Jake, since Carly likes him. They later see him kissing with the ex-girlfriend Stephanie.

Mr. Bullock

Mr. Bullock (Tom Beyer) made his "cameo" in iGive Away a Car. He was the LCC Inspector for Carly Sam and Freddie. He told what qualities the car had to have to be considered a new car. They gave Nevel Spencer's space cruiser and it qualified for being a new car. (It went so fast that when Nevel drove it he crashed into a store)

Mrs. Halberstadt

Mrs. Halberstadt (Estelle Harris) made her "cameo" in iScream on Halloween. She is old and lives in Carly's apartment building. Lewbert pretended that her apartment, 13-B, is haunted. Carly, Sam and Freddie to do the Halloween Special of iCarly in 13-B. Mrs. Halbertadt has a hearing aid which she forgets to turn on.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie Look-Alikes

In the episode iLook-Alike, Carly, Sam, and Freddie find three kids who look very similar to themselves and have them pose as decoys in an attempt to trick Spencer, so that the real kids could try to go to a mixed martial arts match that they were forbidden to attend. The ruse ultimately fails, as Spencer deduces that these were decoys, and then later catches the real kids red-handed. The decoys later appear on the iCarly web show, entering the stage in the "random dancing" segment of the show when the real kids returned to the apartment studio. Notably, Sam disliked her look-alike because the fake Sam has never been arrested and her family is never on parole, and that she also found Freddie attractive. Their real names are unknown.

The Fake Carly was played by Malese Jow. The Fake Sam was played by Annie De Fatta. The Fake Freddie was played by Gabriel Basso.

Sasha Striker

Sasha Striker (Lorena York) makes her "cameo" appearance in iStage an Intervention as the girl who was the #1 Pak-Rat player in the world at the age of 16, but disappeared after becoming famous. When the cast of iCarly finds Sasha, Spencer gets to play the game against her and win, making him the new #1 Pak-Rat player in the world. Spencer and Sasha kiss before she (Sasha) leaves.

Greg

Greg (Greg Pattillo) is a beatboxing flautist, meaning he can beatbox and play the flute at the same time. He is Sam's cousin and he appeared in the episode iHeart Art.

Jackson Colt

Jackson Colt (Terrell Lee) is one of the Top 10 fighters at the MMA fight. He appeared in iLook Alike, where he threw Spencer through a table because he made fun of his hand. He loves his biceps and he has a son named Kevin Colt.

Brad

Brad (David Starzyk) was the person who owned a television series in iCarly Saves TV. He is rather stupid and when he offers to make iCarly a tv show he actually made so many changes to the show that it became really boring and "jank" as Harper says it.

Harper

Harper (Leon G. Thomas III) was the leader of the iCarly band in the episode iCarly Saves TV.He quit after the iCarly television show become to "jank" for him.
