rPath Inc.

rPath is a technology company who provides custom applications and operating systems based on free and open-source software. Formerly known as Specifix Inc, the company was founded in 2003 by a group of individuals who were unhappy with the current state of linux distribution development. rPath's goal is to make customizing software simple and give the ability to have divergant development while still tracking the upstream changes.
