Alan Ladd, Jr. (born October 22 1937 in Los Angeles, California) is an American film industry executive and producer. He is famous for the invaluable support he gave then little known film maker George Lucas during the production of Star Wars. He also produced Blade Runner, which has become one of the most influential films of all time.
