Does anyone know why he has been elected two years ago at the French Academy and no official reception yet ? Hektor 20:48, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know how to pronounce his name. I say Alain Robe Grill-A, which I'm sure is wrong, I just came up with it.

I believe it's "Robe Gree-yay" Mfalvey1 05:30, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He said it more like "Rub." Well, another good man gone.70.132.0.229 (talk) 19:57, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Robbe-Grillet hasn't been received into the Académie because he refuses to wear the académicien's outfit, preferring turtle necks.

Death

The French Wikipedia reports that he died today, but I cannot find a source. Editorofthewiki 14:43, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's on the Monde website: Le Monde Article but this page won't be available in a few days, so it'll need another reference. Hrcolyer (talk) 16:31, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Antinovel

The article antinovel describes Alain Robbe-Grillet as the most famous practicioner of the style. Can someone confirm or correct this? RJFJR (talk) 01:12, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Waste

The "Cultural references" section seems to be devoid of value.Lestrade (talk) 17:55, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Lestrade[reply]
