The LG enV (pronounced "envy"), also known as the VX9900, is a Bluetooth-enabled and V CAST-ready mobile phone that includes a full "qwerty" keyboard and a 2.0 megapixel camera. It comes in three color variations: silver, orange, and green.

It is succeeded by different phones, each of which have chosen different paths: the LG Voyager (VX10000), released November 2007, which has a touch sensitive front screen, and the LG enV2 (VX9100), a smaller and slimmer version, released May 2008.[1] even though there are newer models.

Features

The enV has several features, such as the actual Qwerty keyboard and a 2.0 megapixel camera. It is Bluetooth-compatible and supports V CAST, Verizon's music and video service, as well as VZ Navigator, Verizon's map service. It is also capable of Java. The phone has a microSD memory card port for storing music and video from a computer and is enabled to set videos under 5MB as wallpaper. The LG enV is available in three colors (silver, green, and orange).

The enV can be seen used in many music videos, including Fergie's "Glamorous",[2] Akon's "Don't Matter",[3] Gym Class Heroes' "Clothes Off!!", and Vanessa Hudgens' video for "Say Ok".[4] It is used in television shows, as well, seen used by Jackie Warner in the Bravo reality show "Work Out", regularly used by both Brooke and Nick Hogan on season 4 of Hogan Knows Best[5] and by Blair Waldorf and Vanessa Abrams on Gossip Girl.[6] Hayden Panettiere also frequently uses the phone in front of the paparazzi.[7]. It has also been used in The Real World: Hollywood[citation needed]. Additionally, during WWE RAW, when Triple H attacked Randy Orton at his house, one of the girls had an enV[citation needed].

Additional Comment

I am a user of this phone and it is not bad, it isn't the greatest phone in the world though. Not sure if i would pick it again if i had the choice. =\
