Khon Kaen Airport (Template:Lang-th (IATA: KKC, ICAO: VTUK)) is located in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
Serving Khon Kaen, a city strategically important for the region's infrastructure both geographically and economically as the Gateway to Isan, the airport was upgraded to international standards in 2005 with the opening of a new terminal. It is located a few kilometers west of downtown.
The airport is equipped with two jet bridges. The departures hall is located on the second floor which also houses some small shops selling food and gifts, while the arrivals hall is on the first floor as well as a foreign-exchange kiosk. There is a small restaurant on the third floor. The terminal is connected to a large parking lot.
Airlines and destinations
Domestic Airlines
Thai Air Asia and One-Two-GO Airlines used to offer flights to Bangkok (Don Mueang International Airport) around 2006-2007. As of May 2009, their ticket counters still remained, though not operating.
International Airlines
As of May 2009, the airport was not handling any international scheduled flights.
