Ankeny Regional Airport (ICAO: KIKV, FAA LID: IKV) is a public airport located one mile (2 km) southeast of the central business district of Ankeny, a city in Polk County, Iowa, United States. It is owned by the Polk County Aviation Authority.[1]

Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Ankeny Regional Airport is assigned IKV by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.[2]

Ankeny Regional Airport covers an area of 442 acres (179 ha) which contains two concrete paved runways: 18/36 measuring 5,500 x 100 ft (1,676 x 30 m) and 4/22 measuring 4,200 x 75 ft (1,280 x 23 m). For the 12-month period ending September 11, 2007, the airport had 48,600 general aviation aircraft operations, an average of 133 per day. There are 109 aircraft based at this airport: 75% single-engine, 17% multi-engine, 5% helicopter, 2% jet and 1% military.[1]
