Ihiagwa is a town located in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. It is 13km from Owerri City. It is made of Seven Villages: Umuelem, Umuchima, Mboke, Nkaramoche, Iriamogwu, Umuokwo and Umuezeawala. Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) is located in Ihiagwa. The present Traditional Ruler of Ihiagwa is Eze Muruako. The Market in Ihiagwa is called 'Nkwo Ukwu'. The surrounding Towns/Villages to Ihiagwa are Nekede, Obinze, Naze and Obibiezena. Otamiri River passes through the Town.
