"Right Here/Human Nature"
Song

"Right Here/Human Nature" is the title of a number-one R&B single by the group SWV. It charted on the Billboard Chart as a double-A-side single with "Downtown". It samples Michael Jackson's 1983 hit "Human Nature". The song spent ten weeks at number-one on the US BillboardHot R&B Singles, the longest running number-one R&B single of 1993. It also spent 3 weeks atop the Rhythmic Top 40 chart. It peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top ten in Europe. The song peaked at number 3 in the UK Singles Chart in September 1993[1]

The original version of the song, which featured Taj rapping over the bridge, was released in the fourth quarter of 1992, but did not achieve the same success. Nevertheless it peaked at number 16 on the Hot R&B Singles. Both versions also feature a young Pharrell Williams saying "SWV" during the song.

The song appears on the soundtrack and in the film Free Willy.

Music video

The video begins with SWV riding horses on an island's coast. They proceed to do various things and have fun during the song. It shows them fishing, and kids dancing and playing instruments and ends with SWV riding their horses. Being that this song is featured on the soundtrack to Free Willy and is sampled from Michael Jackson's "Human Nature", there is an alternate version in honor of the two. It features killer whales, and clips of Michael Jackson performing "Human Nature" during the Dangerous Tour[2]
