A new Metroid announced at E3 2009, developed by Team Ninja and Nintendo.

The trailer presented is as a mix of classic Metroid gameplay along with 3rd person action. Adam Malkovich from Metroid Fusion made an appearance in the trailer, along with a younger Samus.
