Template:ADSL standards ADSL in Australia started off as ITU G.992.2 which is also known as G.Lite. G.Lite comes in three standard speeds. 256/64 This is 256 kbit/s downstream and 64 kbit/s upstream. 512/128 This is 512 kbit/s downstream and 128 kbit/s upstream. 1500/512 This is 1500 kbit/s downstream and 512 kbit/s upstream.
