Max Brenner
Max Brenner is an Israeli chocolate chain with stores located in Australia, Israel, the United States, the Philippines and Singapore.[1] The stores have a layout similar to regular cafes, but specialise in chocolate drinks and desserts. The menu differs slightly from store to store, as well as internationally. Commonly found sweets include fondues, waffles and cookies. Max Brenner brand products are also sold in many stores and kiosks in Israel.
History
Max Brenner was founded in 1996 in Ra'anana by Max Fichtman and Oded Brenner[2] - there is no actual Max Brenner in real life, although Oded Brenner does resemble him, and is often mistaken for him. Max Fichtman is no longer associated with the Max Brenner chain. Since 2001, the company has been a part of Strauss Group, one of Israel's largest foods manufacturers.[3]
