A member of anarchist pop group Chumbawamba from 1983-2004. Currently a scriptwriter for theatre, radio and TV. Theatre work includes Foxes (2006) West Yorkshire Playhouse and Where's Vietnam? (2008) for Red Ladder theatre company at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Radio work includes Snow In July (2008) afternoon play, Radio 4. TV work includes an episode of Jimmy McGovern's Bafta winning series The Street (2007) and Casualty (2009). She's written a pilot for a Granada TV and is currently developing an idea with the BBC. Alice Nutter's work deals with the struggle to be human in difficult conditions - shot through with a vein of black comedy.
