Picture

Anyone have a picture? -- Barry Zuckerkorn 20:03, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a picture from his short visit to Mora IK, but he faces away from the camera so his name on the (away) jersey is visible but not his face. Would this add any value to the article? --Bamsefar75 (talk) 12:57, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Traded to Atlanta

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that someone wants a source cited for Hossa's trade to Atlanta? There's a photo of him in a uniform on the page and anyone who knows anything about hockey knows that Hossa is an Atlanta Thrasher now. Wikipedia users can be so moronic sometimes. --Stukov 06:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant much?

Is there a point to the Transactions section? It just repeats information already given earlier in the article, and it's not part of the standard hockey player template-thingy. Deleting, perhaps? ConkblockCity (talk) 14:42, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not part of the template, but it does appear in some FAs (Dominik Hasek, Wayne Gretzky).-Wafulz (talk) 14:53, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Red Wings picture

There definitely needs to be a picture of him in the Red Wings uniform. I know there are some out there, I Googled them myself, but I don't know enough about the image use policies to upload one. Anyone care to post a pic, or educate me? Oreobabe29 (talk) 20:11, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First playoff overtime goal

I probably wouldn't have noticed it if not for the fact tag, but Hossa didn't score the overtime goal in game 5 last year. Petr Sykora won the game for the Pens. Hossa scored early in the game. I remember it because it was such a long game (3 overtimes).Kingdomcarts (talk) 05:57, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. I just re-read it. I thought it was talking about the cup finals game 5, not the Eastern semis. I'll see if I can't dig up a cite on nhl.com.Kingdomcarts (talk) 05:59, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Scoring Leader 2008/2009 for Red Wings?

Pavel Datsyuk had 97 Points, was 4th in the NHL in scoring and lead the Detroit Red Wings. While Marian Hossa lead the Red Wings in Goals Scored. Scoring in the NHL is a combination of Assists and Goals. One point for each. Whoever made that edit, obviously doesn't know there hockey. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LtColonelBlack (talkcontribs) 06:01, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
