William Bligh

William Bligh was the Royal Navy Captain of the HMS Bounty, on which the Bounty Mutiny occured. After the mutiny, the mutineers cast him off the ship into a small boat. Later rescued, he went on to become Governor of New South Wales. There he suffered another mutiny, this time the Rum Rebellion.
