Still Runnin N.Y. Mixtape?
What about the Still Runnin N.Y. Mixtape of 2005, why isn't that in here? Somebody deleted that after I added it. I sources are needed, but it's not an official album so there is no label for it, hence no official release date or so. (90.193.26.197 23:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC))
90's & My Heart's Broken
New mixtape coming out on thisis50.com. Spoof on Kanye West's album, 808's & Heartbreak. It comes out on Valentine's Day, 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.234.17 (talk) 03:17, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
VANDALISM
Someone deleted the 9 Bullets Later album thing I added that took me 4ever
cite a source for it next time
DMP3G deleted multiple singles from my list that was taken from billboard.comDsc201knoc 16:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Singles
This section used to be way better. Somebody deleted how many weeks his #1 single spent on the spot and some other singles' chart history, such as "Outta Control (Remix)" and "P.I.M.P.". Sigh. Kajito 23:29, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Someone please fix the singles section. I can't find where "Have A Party" went to #1.... factually incorrect. Iamvered 02:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
i personally fixed all the singles for this post from the billboard website and someone deleted half my singles Dsc201knoc 16:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
You Don't Know is not a no. 1 i wanna love you is.
It should read that 50 has 12 Top Tens to his credit on the Hot 100.
Reversions
I've tried fixing some formatting issues in the article a couple of times now but my edits are reverted without comment. Is there any reason that Refrences (sic) should be misspelt, the URLs are preceeded with two forward slashes, or the div in the reference section is not closed? -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Bold textcorrectionBold text if it is 9.8 x platinum it would be considered diamond
Suggestion
We should have template using this... For 50. Who's up for it? K^ 23:07, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
if you dont have a rference dont put information down. how easy is that. billbord has the singles
Someone should put that the album sales for Curtis is only for the 1st day so it doesnt seem like thats all its ever sold. 17:03 9/14/07 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.174.133.159 (talk) 02:00, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Album cover
Someone keeps posting a dubious album cover that seems to be photoshopped from a XXL article here. Whoever made the cover actually did a pretty good job but this isn't the place for posting it, unless it can be properly confirmed. Spellcast 12:22, 10 March 2007 (UTC) ====CURTIS SALES==== Someone changed the worldwide album sales of Curtis in the discography section it says he sold 2.5 million when it sold 5 million http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/081013/lam105.html?.v=101 dec 21 2008
Yea both the references behind it say 5million sold, someone keeps changing it to 2.5 million for no reason. I dont know why.

The old Style
please add the old style of it with album covers and background. like that i post now...

Labels
Why are none of the albums listed under G-Unit Records? They all, except Get Rich Or Die Tryin' , hav ebeen released or will be released on it as well. --The-G-Unit-Boss 12:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think G-Unit actually distributes 50 Cent's albums. There is a similar discussion at the Shady Records talk page regarding Eminem's albums being distributed by Shady. --- Realest4Life 22:38, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
If you look at the album liner notes of The Massacre or in the iTunes music store, G-Unit Records is not officially credited. It's just "Shady/Aftermath/Interscope". Spellcast 07:25, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Actually, maybe The Massacre was also released under G-Unit Records. I don't have a physical copy of the album, but here's a scan of the back cover, which credits G-Unit. I remember being in the music store looking at the back cover and I could have sworn that G-Unit Records was not officially credited. Spellcast 11:54, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Don't know about the back cover, but I do know that Billboard only credits Shady/Aftermath as the imprints. --- Realest4Life 14:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Billboard gets their discography info from All Music Guide (see The Massacre page for example). I think we agree that this was also released under Shady Records. Yet All Music Guide doesn't credit Shady Records for this. Spellcast 14:43, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah it does, see here. --- Realest4Life 15:01, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Collaborations
For the moment, I've removed the G-Unit collaborations from the albums. I think the "Albums" heading should be about 50's albums as much as possible as opposed to his collaborations. Check out the featured Gwen Stefani discography. Note how it doesn't show her collaboration albums with No Doubt. Feel free to comment if you think otherwise. Spellcast 13:31, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- My initial response would be to keep them because he "owns" G-Unit etc. But im not 100% sure --The-G-Unit-Boss 13:44, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe if the list was long, it would be kept separate, but since there's only 2 albums, I suppose it's alright. Hopefully, there's more responses. Spellcast 14:23, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Singles
SOMEONE NEEDS TO UPDATE 50'S SINGLES SECTION HIS CURRENT SINGLES SUCH AS STRAIGHT TO THE BANK IS ON # 30, HIS "I GET MONEY" CLIMBED UP TO #50 IN 1 WEEK AND HIS "AYO TECHNOLOGY" IS NOW AT #18 ON THE BILLBOARD TOP 100 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.33.212.108 (talk • contribs)
Music Vids
Fixed 2007 music videos. --West Coast Ryda - Talk 19:09, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Should we have added his guest apparances in other's music videos? --West Coast Ryda 20:50, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's necessary to have music videos that aren't part of his albums. They're not really his music videos. But shouldn't there be more videos for The Massacre? I think one was made for each track. Spellcast 23:23, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Piggy Bank, Best Friend, P.I.M.P. (remix) had their own music videos. Piggy's were animated though. --West Coast Ryda 11:38, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, there was a video for every song on The Massacre although I haven't seen all of them. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 19:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

many men missing form singles...
it was played on radio and had a musis video, yet no article on it and its not under singles.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.118.238.218 (talk) 23:10, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- It has a video, but I don't think it was an official single. Spellcast (talk) 23:16, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Reliability of sources
Some of your sources are questionable with regards to their acceptability as reliable sources. I've tagged a few examples. mp3adrenalin.com (an MP3 retailer out of Kiev) and CD Universe (a CD shop) are most definitely not reliable sources. The hip hop websites I can't personally say as this isn't my area of expertise; however, if they're not well known as reliable to the average editor/reviewer (and they don't have Wikipedia articles, suggesting they're not hugely influential) you need to demonstrate that these sources are authoratative and why. It seems the folks at FLC don't actually bother checking the sources as you're not alone in this regard... --kingboyk (talk) 13:06, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- These were tagged for WP:RS issues:
- AllHipHop, HipHopDX, and SOHH. These are leading music news sites. Unlike sites like worldwidealbums.tk (which I successfully proposed blacklisting), these aren't self-published sources or forums. Reliable sources isn't determined by whether a site has a Wikipedia article. Besides, HipHopDX had a Wikipedia article but I took it to WP:AfD. AllHipHop also had an article and it's used by other media outlets.[1]
- MTV is definitely a reliable source for music videos. The mvdbase (used in other featured lists like Hilary Duff discography) is questionable but I removed it because everything's cited in the MTV ref.
- CD Universe lists the same credits shown on an album's liner notes. No-one's going to seriously dispute whether he's on those songs. It's not going to fit the criteria of a disputed statement. Other featured lists like Gwen Stefani discography don't even list a source as it's probably assumed the source is the album itself.
- MP3 Adrenalin. I didn't originally add this. Even though the songs seem to be by him, it's not clear whether it's official. I'll remove it unless there's a better ref. Spellcast (talk) 20:21, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks.
- If a source isn't well known, and doesn't have a Wikipedia article (which I know is not an indicator of reliability, but it is at least an indicator of notability), I think it's best to include some details of why it's authoratative in the footnote. This is especially so with "one man band" websites; it may not apply here if they're as well known as you say (they didn't reach my cave yet).
- The MTV database seems to be far from complete; I searched for "KLF" and got 0 results. Still, I'll take your word for it.
- Cite the CD sleeve then? {{Cite cd notes}} or write your own. CD Universe could be a "courtesy link" if need be, but providing it as a source is just not on imho.
- That was the worst one. Thanks.
BTW, I'm not doubting any of these statements (I didn't even read it as I hate 50 Cent ;)), just the sources. Cheers. --kingboyk (talk) 21:04, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's refreshing to see someone else helping improve this page for a change. And about CD Universe, it's an online retailer just like the iTunes Store, Discogs, or Amazon.com. So I don't see what's wrong with using it to verify the appearances in 50 Cent discography#Guest appearances. CD Universe and Discogs is used extensively in the featured Feeder discography. If you still have doubts about its reliability, I'll bring it up at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. If it's not acceptable, then surely discogs and the others aren't too. 5mill sold
Curtis' WorldWide Numbers Wrong
The article was recently changed to say Curtis sold 2.4 million worldwide when the links themselves say it sold 5 million worldwide. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 35.11.26.22 (talk) 07:25, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes it sold 5 million worldwide yet it says 2.4 here and 1.2 on the album page. Some user on ThisIs50.com refuses to believe he sold 5 million and keeps editing it even though there's PROOF HE SOLD 5 MILLION. I suggest reverting it to 5 million on both pages and lock them both from editing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.16.56.210 (talk) 14:34, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Just discovered this 50 cent collaboration single from Woo (1998) movie soundtrack
I just found 12 bars of 50 cent which he guested on the movie soundtrack 'Woo', track 11, song "Let It Be" , by Allure. And this was produced by Trackmasters. I feel this should be updated in the discography under 'Guest Appearances'
