Rickerby is a village in Cumbria, England, United Kingdom. It is situated near Carlisle, next to the River Eden. The property belonged to Richard de Tilliol of Scaleby Castle, whose decendant Adam de Rickerby (meaning Adam of Rickerby) resided here circa 1230. Rickerby Park is nearby, Cumberland County Show is held there every year.
