Contributions and Recognition

I am the initial author and image-provider for the article on Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. This piece was featured in the "Did You Know?" section of the Wikipedia Mainpage on April 9, 2008. I am a member of the Gastroenterology Task Force for WikiProject Medicine, a collaborative effort to improve the encyclopedia's coverage of health and medicine. With a demographic like 0.013%, I was not surprised that Wikipedia lacked an article on SMAS. But, I figured it was about time someone fixed that!

I also expanded the article on Cerebral salt-wasting syndrome, which was only a stub when I found it!
