Herzogenaurach (49°34′N 10°53′E / 49.567°N 10.883°E / 49.567; 10.883) is a is a small town in Mittelfranken, Bavaria. It is the birthplace of the sporting good giant Adidas.

This city (of approximately 23,000 inhabitants) is over 1000 years old. It is located about a 30 minute drive from Nuremberg.
