The talk page for this article is not for opinions on whether or not Daisy De La Hoya deserves her own show. This is a TV show that is being made by VH1, therefore is worthy of being an article.- SyXx.
Dropout's real name is Tristan, someone please add —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.95.216.83 (talk) 03:20, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Potential Voter Scam?
A bit early to say, but I noticed that on the vote page for Daisy's potential dates the final round was all anonymous in that no one knew how many votes each person was getting. I know that in previous rounds the winner was a goth/punk guy named CCManded - http://www.Myspace.com/mrmanded http://www.CCManded.com & immediately wondered if the show would pull an "I Love New York". (Where the real internet winner of Fireman was changed to another more screen friendly choice.) I'm going to predict that CCManded got the vote majority but will not be on the show due to similar reasons. It's all hearsay at the moment, but I predict that if he's not on the show that many people are going to be predicting the same thing. It's not enough to go on the page yet, but there will probably be if he's not on the show. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 14:37, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Tokyogirl79
- Yup. They picked a more screen friendly choice. In fact, CCManded himself said on his voter page that the show's producers contacted him & told him that they weren't going to pick him b/c he just was "too scary" for the show. Now the question is, should this be included in the article? I believe that it should b/c that's clearly a voter scam. The guy that won WASN'T the guy who got the majority of the votes. If so, then I'd like one of the more experienced people to include it b/c I'm not as good about doing stuff like that. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 22:51, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Tokyogirl79
- Here's the link to the page for that quote:
She looks so animated with her inner tube sized BOTOX LIPS!!!!!! Who does your plastic surgery, and injections? Stevie Wonder?

- I'm sorry but I don't think it can be included in the article. Even if you are correct and it was a voter scam. The problem with it is that it is a "Potential Voter's Scam", there's not proof to back it up. I'm also pretty sure that VH1 has rules that verify that the producers can take out people who are not good for the show which would make it a scam at all. Andrew097 (talk) 20:33, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
CC Manded was the online voting winner but was taken out of the lead and removed off the Daisy of love page b/c of his youtube & myspace videos. check him out http://www.Myspace.com/mrmanded http://www.CCManded.com or youtube.com keyword- CC Manded
Which contestant
Which contestant is Brian Magee? Andrew097 (talk) 03:08, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Spoilers
I edited out some supposed spoilers, but I had a little trouble with the call-out order table. 75.15.113.162 (talk) 07:00, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Why are eliminated contestants and a worry about "call-out order" up for a show that doesn't even air for another 2 days? Radjose (talk) 14:26, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I get that there was a "sneak premier" online at VH1, but hasn't Wikipedia in the past waited until after the official airing to post information online? Radjose (talk) 14:33, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- I don't believe there is an established convention. Once the article goes off semi-protection, our biggest problem is going to be the unsourced spoilers based on unreleased future information. At least in this case VH1 has officially released the video. Plastikspork (talk) 15:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, alright, I just remember someone getting "in trouble" for updating Rock of Love 2 information based on the early morning "sneak peak" showing and being told to wait for the evening's "normal" airing. If it's not an established convention, I guess there's no problems. Carry on. 64.161.190.116 (talk) 16:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Exactly. I'm sure there will be some complaints either way. I really don't care either way in this particular case. After all, it's not our primary goal to be first. It is one of our primary goals to be accurate. Plastikspork (talk) 16:31, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
The Nicknames Given to the Snake of Eden Triplets
The nicknames given to Izzy, Rock, and Kelli were not 84, 85, and 86, they were '84, '85, and '86. If you don't believe me watch the show again. The correct names need to be listed. Please leave the apostrophes alone. They need to be there! Also I feel the extra information I included in the Elimination Notes concerning the triplets' elimination are very germaine to the subject and are very informative, entertaining, and helpful in understanding their elimination. Kimmymarie24 (talk) 04:02, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Create a "reason for nickname" table if you want to add reasons for nicknames.
- I will leave the apostrophes alone since you seem so passionate about it. Plastikspork (talk) 05:41, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Three contestants have quit
I am surprised to see that three contestants on the show have quit. The show probably has most contestants to withdrew from the show more than twice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Razzinator (talk • contribs) 19:46, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Who is Daisy de la Hoya?
Although she has her own show on National TV, but it seems that she doesn't have an article here! --Kaaveh (talk) 03:51, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
It's Still Called 'Daisy of Love'.
Whoever keeps changing the title of the show to 'Daisy of Leave' -- stop. Daisy and Riki never had the conversation that you claimed has happened, where he asks her to change the title of the show and she agrees. That wasn't in episode five at all. The episode closed with Daisy looking at London's picture on the floor. (Jaybee7 (talk) 02:47, 25 May 2009 (UTC))
Agreed. I deleted the section in the elimination notes about Daisy considering the title. I also took out the part where Riki tells them that they're safe since there's hardly anyone left - that didn't happen. ADifferentMind (talk) 21:41, 25 May 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind
Oh, and I forgot to add - I'm not sure how to edit out the "mmm, triplets" comment. If someone could do that, it'd be great. ADifferentMind (talk) 21:43, 25 May 2009 (UTC)ADifferentMind
I've also deleted those sections a couple of times, too...and I didn't see any 'mmm...triplets' comment, so someone must have taken it away but the article is protected now so hopefully the vandalism will stop. (Jaybee7 (talk) 03:06, 26 May 2009 (UTC))
Cage quit or withdrew
Cage said it would be best for him to leave, so Daisy saying that she "had to let him go" is irrelevant. He was leaving anyway. Therefore, I believe that makes it a voluntary withdrawal. The VH1 blog on VH1.com also states on it's official recap that Cage withdrew on his own accord, thereby making the decision for Daisy. I don't see how this isn't a withdrawal.
Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bretter22 (talk • contribs) 23:49, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- This sounds like a reasonable argument if the official recap stated that he withdrew. Plastikspork (talk) 23:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Per VH1's blog: "Daisy gives him some speech about not tolerating violence, though she isn’t exactly what I would call hard-line. This is Cage’s doing, and so, for the fourth week in a row, a guy has effectively dropped out of this competition." [1]Bretter22 (talk Bretter22 (talk) 00:10, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Cage withdrew from the competition. You can clearly see it in the show, a blog really is not that good of a source. I will revert the edits back to Cage withdrawing. Justastud15 (talk) 07:10, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Note
I know it's not important, but I saw it on some of the other pages so if anyone wants to put a subscript 1, 2, and 3 beside 74, 85, & 86's name and at the note saying they appeared in Lady Gaga's video, Paparazzi —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.240.147.173 (talk) 19:31, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
