John Dempster (born April 1 1983 in Kettering, England) is an English footballer, currently playing for Conference National side Kettering Town, where he plays as a defender.
A young player capable of playing at the heart of defence or midfield, he, along with Andy Burgess, holds the ignominy of having helped two clubs drop out of the league in the same season - Rushden & Diamonds and Oxford United.
Dempster also represented Scotland at under 20s and under 21s and was also selected for Paul Faircloughs England National eleven side back in 2006.
Dempster is currently sponsored by Kettering based Computer Products Ltd. He still remains the top goal scoring defender in his league.
