Return to HorrorLand is the thirteenth book in the Goosebumps: Series 2000. It is a sequel to One Day at HorrorLand (Goosebumps #16). Lizzy, Luke, Clay and two new characters, Derek and Margo Strange, go to HorrorLand. The book was first published in January, 1999.

Plot

Lizzy Morris remembers the trip she took to HorrorLand along with her parents, her brother Luke, and his friend Clay. They had barely escaped with their lives the last time, and now all five of them, have to go back to Horrorland.

Lizzy, Luke and Clay are watching a TV show called Strange File when Darren and Margo Strange, the hosts of Strange File invite them to come to HorrorLand and prove that it is an evil, dangerous place. At first, the kids are skeptical, but then they agree. The usual HorrorLand antics occur, but then the kids find out Darren and Margo are ghosts. Luke and Clay got kidnap and Darren and Margo will be using their bodies, so the parents had to find them before the two ghosts takes over Luke's and Clay's body. The kids try to escape and are saved by a man and a woman. In their car, Lizzy, Luke and Clay learn the two people are hosts of a show called Weird Copy. The last scene ends with the car driving into the parking lot of an amusement park called Terrorville.

The character of Derek Strange was famously based on the 80's television star Tom Selleck, even bearing a resemblance to the actor.
