Once they folded, Ben was signed by the Victorian Titans where he became one of the most dominant centers in the competition. Ben signed with the Wollongong Hawks in 2001 and spent two seasons there before switching back to Victoria in 03/04. After two seasons in New Zealand, Ben was signed by the Townsville Crocs. Despite being a dominant player in the NBL for numerous years Ben Pepper rarely played for the Australian national side, the Boomers.
