Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Blowback (arms). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Nukes4Tots (talk) 16:26, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- Please be aware that Nukes4Tots is exhibiting signs of article ownership, which is a generally unacceptable behavior on Wikipedia, and try not to be discouraged or driven off by his behavior if you are truly trying to improve the article and believe your edits are correct. - I suppose the proper response given your recent behaviour would be, "Am not!" --Nukes4Tots (talk) 05:42, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Blowback
I have noticed you are attempting to discuss a content dispute with Nukes4Tots and he has ignored your attempts at discussion. It is my advice that he will never listen to anything you say, as he is extremely stubborn. I would suggest you take your concerns to WP:GUNS and try starting a discussion on the talk page for the project. This [1] appears to be an article by the author of the book you are citing, if that would help. I am not familiar with the specific mechanics of API blowback so I cannot comment on the accuracy of your edits. Some guy (talk) 22:28, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice. However, as WP:GUNS seems to have a focus on civilian firearms, which usually do not extend to automatic cannon, I've taken it to the talk page of WP:WEAPON instead. It's not just the description of the mechanism that needs improvement, but the coverage of the entire family of guns... Mutatis Mutandis (talk) 10:23, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
