Michael Bostwick (born 17 May 1988) is an English professional footballer. He plays as a defender for Stevenage Borough.

Career

Bostwick began his fledgling football career at South East London side Millwall, and despite impressing on loan at Crawley Town,[1] he was subsequently allowed to leave in January 2007 to join another Conference National outfit in the form of Rushden & Diamonds on a full-time contract.[2] Bostwick played a large part in turning round Rushden's fortunes under the guidance of Graham Westley, featuring in all eight of the side's unbeaten run. However, after suffering a hamstring injury Bostwick found it hard to regain his first team place at Nene Park and was released at the end of the season by manager Garry Hill. Without a club entering the 2007-08 season, Bostwick was recruited by Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish on a 3-month contract.[3] After impressing, Bostwick signed a new deal in November to keep him at the club until the end of the 2007-08 season.[4] He enjoyed FA Trophy success with Ebbsfleet at the end of the season.[5] It was to be Bostwick's last game for Ebbsfleet, as he signed for Stevenage Borough on a free transfer in May 2008.[6]
