Illyrians

Welcome to Wiki:)) Anyway I don't think that you should quit on this. Every article has this kind of issues (although Albanian related articles have more since there are many neighbours:) which prefer to put them outside that area propably descending from the Mars:)) The problem in the Balkan area is that there was not a free circulation of ideas and the problem is still persisting. For eg Greek editors publish in Greek language (from the Greek authors and others translated) mainly books supporting their thesis not alternatives (although you can find them in the web) and also the common people is more prone to believe and buy these books than the others. The same happens in all the Balkan states especially in those countires which have still open issues:) with their neighbours. That's why it is very difficult to cooperate sometimes. Anyway Fut is not as bad as you think;) Aigest (talk) 07:51, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yep I know that photo. It was discovered near Pogradec. The original photo is more extended though, in the left there is an Illyrian fighter and in the right a macedonian. Behind the Illyrian(on horse) ther is a snake totem of Illyrians(not seen in this picture). The problem is we don't know if this photo can be used (property rights). Aigest (talk) 14:38, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nope I didn't read Gawrych except few passages in a library while I was searching for other stuff. Interestingly sometimes it has been misquoted here in wiki. (eg Souliotes article talk page). If you need other stuff for Kosova just ask;) Aigest (talk) 12:01, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged Serbia like you suggested it. --Mustafa Mustamann (talk) 12:16, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your effort

Could you also take care of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_European_Free_Trade_Agreement TIA. --Mustafa Mustamann (talk) 20:59, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A critical view [1] of Noel Malcolm and the Serb migration. Hope it is useful. Bests Aigest (talk) 10:14, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV

Here [2] please read it before discussing. Aigest (talk) 10:19, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have already studies the Ottoman period, but unfortunately the emphasis is not laid on the Balkans as much as it should be. This should be useful.

Yugoslav Wars

Hi, i noticed your changes in the article Yugoslav wars and thought there could be an disscusion about the changes. I made an input in Talk:Yugoslav wars. Regards --Nirvana77 (talk) 15:28, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Dayton Agreements were designed to stop the war in Bosnia. They did not take care of Albanians of Kosovo because it was a separate issue, and it would only have impeded to reach any agreement. Do you refer to any academic publication to introduce the link between the two? Bests, --Dans (talk) 12:32, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here is an article written in 2000 by Dr Janez Drnovšek, former Prime Minister of Slovenia and President of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1990 which will explain some things. here (Interestedinfairness (talk) 20:24, 21 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

I have made an new input in Talk:Yugoslav wars regarding the intro. Check there before edit warring. --Nirvana77 (talk) 10:51, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't thing I have enough time to follow the issue, lately. Take care and regards.--Dans (talk) 09:13, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cvility warning

Comments of this kind [3] will not be tolerated. I am reporting you for incivility. --Athenean (talk) 00:15, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may have guessed, but the user above reported you to WP:WQA. Feel free to comment on the thread there. That said, certainly there are better ways to get your point across than asking another user "are you retarded." Even if you believe the user is being deliberately frustrating, please avoid using comments like that in the future. As soon as you do, someone reports such comments and you could wind up being on the wrong end of a block. This is just a suggestion by an uninvolved editor, I am making no comment on the content of your discussion, only the use of "retarded". The Seeker 4 Talk 00:26, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks

IIF, personal attacks like "are you retarded"[4] are not acceptable on wikipedia. If you continue, you will be blocked. kwami (talk) 02:26, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Do not threaten me. I think you will find that accusing some one of pushing an "Albanian national POV" is a personal attack so maybe you should speak to the other user. Also, please refrain from leaving me messages on my talk page, since I have seen no evidence of anything constructive you have done on the Illyrian talk page to make it better. All you have done is given leverage to other users to propagate their pseudo-scientific nonsense. (Interestedinfairness (talk) 09:48, 24 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

I will warn you, regardless of your attitude. It is only fair to do so before blocking you. kwami (talk) 10:24, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are you an administrator? (Interestedinfairness (talk) 10:27, 24 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Yes. kwami (talk) 11:10, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good. I don't wish to complain to you about athenienas personal attack on me as this matter is being resolved some where else. But in the future if you may be more diligent in trying to not set double standards. If you check the talk page, you will see the person accused me of pushing an "Albanian national POV" when I only used foreign sources. (Interestedinfairness (talk) 11:14, 24 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Interestedinfairness - the main problem is that although a previous violation of WP:NPA may explain your perceived need to retaliate, it can never excuse retaliation. If you are being subject to personal attacks, please use forums such as WP:WQA or in extreme circumstances, WP:ANI - do not resort to retaliatory insults. Just as in sports, it's the retaliator who gets the punishment. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:18, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tim Judah - Kosovo, War and Revenge

Interestedinfairness, a e ke idene se ku mundemi me e gjete librin e Tim Judah-s: Kosovo, War and Revenge ne internet qe me perdore si burim per artikullin Adem Jashari.

Faleminderit shum, shpresoj qe do ti rregullojme keto "masakara" qe jane bere ne wikipedia rreth artikujve me shqiptare.--kedadi (talk) 18:16, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

qitu po rrin shume kta pisat edhe jon te organizuar me i ndrru artikullat shpejt. Na falni se shqip nuk di edhe bash mire. Po nejse, as une nuk po besoj qe citimi ne artikull eshte korrekt. E kom ndrru faqjen Adem Jashari, te kqyrem tani qka dojn me ba. (Interestedinfairness (talk) 23:13, 24 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Well, the Tim Judah-s: Kosovo, War and Revenge source is ok. That quote can be found on the internet. And there are no "masakara", only the truth. Regards, Tadija (talk) 16:40, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FACTS

Slobodan Milosevic was never convicted, as you claim. He was indicted, which means that a government organization formally claimed that he committed various crimes, which they failed to prove before he died. Similarly Vojislav Seselj, is indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) for crimes, seven hours before the end of trial, the prosecution indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) him for another charge.

The most important facts are that in both of the articles, of the said above individuals, there is a sentence describing their indictments. Agim Ceku is indicted (formal accusation, innocent until proven guilty) by Serbia for war crimes and accordingly we should have a sentence in his header as well.Mike Babic (talk) 01:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is that slobodan was indicted by the UN. Who is serbia to indict a Albanian/Croatian national? Its political jostling, they will never get him.

Your text seems ok, but I did make a few modifications and copy-edits. How's this? (I can not (and will not) "edit-war for you", as that's also against the 3RR.) --DIREKTOR (TALK) 13:22, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ANI again

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. Thank you.

And if you don't mind, per Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Topic_ban_anew, could you explain your choice to continue edit-warring at Adem Jashari again? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 22:42, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your "neutrality" tag on Slavic peoples article

Hi! You recently posted a "neutrality" tag on the Slavic peoples article. This tag is intended to prompt discussion among interested editors to resolve any concerns about neutrality, so I've started a discussion at Talk:Slavic_peoples#Neutrality_tag. Please could you join the discussion and help us to make any necessary improvements to the article so that the tag can be removed. Many thanks -- Timberframe (talk) 13:11, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you want Serbs to start editing the articles on Albania, stopped being disruptive on the article Serbia. There is an unwritten rule, here on Wikipedia, Albanian's don't vandalize Serbian articles, and Serbs don't vandalized Albanian articles.Rex Dominator (talk) 00:29, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Zdravo komsho :-D -- don't tell me what to do. You got a problem with my edits, type it on the talk page. (Interestedinfairness (talk) 06:30, 15 July 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

How about no one vandalizes ANY articles? That rule isn't unspoken; in fact, it's Here. Edits to a page by someone you don't agree with aren't always vandalism. Serbs and Albanians can certainly work together to improve articles. Not everyone is as focused on POV-pushing as you may think. If you are truly on the right side of a debate, the FACTS presented in an article will reflect that. If you're not... well, maybe you need to re-evaluate your position, rather than lie to people.
And that goes for BOTH of you. --King ♣ Talk 12:59, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
