The Redemption is the second studio album by American singer Brooke Hogan. The album is set to be released on July 21, 2009 under SoBe Entertainment. Brooke has collaborated with many artists for this album such as Stack$, Colby O'Donis, Flo Rida. Although the album's release date is July 21, some copies have been released to retail stores early. the album has reached a peak of #32 on the Itunes Pop 100 so far.

Recording

The album was recorded in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California with producer Scott Storch.

Singles

  • "Falling" was released as the first official single from the album on March 31, 2009. The song was announced to be the official lead single from her sophomore album in early March, 2009, after the promo singles, "Stuck" and "By Heart". A music video was filmed in mid-April, 2009, and premiered on May 19, 2009 on her official website. After the song failed to garner success, Brooke stated that she was recording even more material, and that her album was going to be released on June 30, 2009.
  • "Hey Yo!" was released as the second official single from the album on June 30, 2009. The song was announced as the second single on May 28, 2009, and was originally planned for a June 9, 2009 release. On June 2, 2009, Brooke announced that "Hey Yo!" would be released on June 30, 2009 instead, and that her album would be released on July 21, 2009 instead of June 30, 2009. Brooke confirmed on July 3, 2009, that she would be filming the video right before the album's release. After only a few days the song debuted at #48 on iTunes. The song is expected to become her second big hit after "About Us".
  • "Ruff Me Up" will be released as the third official single from the album on August 25, 2009. The song was announced as the third single on July 10, 2009. Due to the early success of "Hey Yo!" Brooke announced that she would follow the single up quickly on August 25, 2009. A video will be filmed in mid-August, 2009.
