Mario Canahuati is a Honduran politician, businessman and a former Honduran ambassador to the United States.[1] [2]

Representing the National Party of Honduras, Canahuati was the vice-presidential candidate of Porfirio Lobo Sosa in the Honduran general election, 2005,[3] which Manuel Zelaya won.

He is a former President of the Honduran business association Consejo Hondureño de la Empresa privada (Cohep).[4]
